The Ecole des Mines de Saint Etienne is located in Gardanne, in
Bouches du Rhone, and the Microelectronics Center is a new school which opened its doors to students in Master in 2008.
The site includes a former mansion of the 19th century, in
escheat, which was vandalized and closed. At the request of the city,
which would like to see it restored, was conducted a heritage study
diagnosis, to guide the project owner and management site
in the possibilities of restoration and transformation of
home within the home of visiting professors.
This study serves as a basis for consultation with contractors and heritage architects during 2009.
